Our Story

Netofa Winery was founded in 2006 built with a passion for wine and love of the land, productivity and fieldwork. We offer elegant fine wines with subtle body and complex aromas and flavors. The winery’s vineyards, situated among the foothills of Mt. Tabor in the heart of the Lower Galilee, feature a wide range of grape varieties: Syrah, Mourvèdre, Tempranillo, Touriga Nacional, Chenin Blanc and Roussane. This unique terroir is the ideal habitat for the development of the Mediterranean varieties and greatly contributes to bringing out the fruit’s qualities and characteristics. In charge of the exacting work and production are vintner Pierre Miodownik with his many years of experience making wine in France, Spain and Portugal, and Yitzhak Tor, who lives and breathes the vineyards and the Land of Israel for many years. These two friends and others share a passion for creating fine Israeli wine through manual labor in the Holy Land.

Netofa Winery is a place for people who love. Who love wine, who love people, who love to host and who love to live. We’re proud of our family and enjoy sharing our days (and nights) with this amazing bunch. If we were to show pictures of all of our partners along the way we’d need an endless page, and for this we are grateful. Now here is just a little taste…
